HOUSE OF DOMINATION events were a New
York City fetish tradition from their founding in late 1990 to their last large-scale event, THE HOOKER'S BALL 5, held in 2004.
At clubs like JACKIE 60, CLICK + DRAG, CBGB GALLERY, CABARET MAGIQUE and UTOPIA PARKWAY @ CROBAR, their events mixed extreme
dressers, gender-hackers, performance
artists, and like minds from the
worlds of female dominance, literature and
music. Through the decades, these large spectacles and more intimate niche
parties inspired and influenced much downtown
New York club and event performance.
In recent years the House no longer produces its own events, but rather participates in several large-scale events a year, including
CLICK + DRAG 3.0, in its new annual format begun in 2008 and the LOW LIFE performance festivals at HOWL! each Labor Day. For recent galleries of
