Every year of doing our annual Bettie Page tribute, more Bettie lookalikes, wannabees and go-go stylists would appear
(or those who like to work a more loose interpretation - contestants have included many a transgendered Bettie
and plus-size Bettie.) Some years back we began the "Bettie Realness" contest at the event so that participants could
walk the Bettie runway for our delighted guests for a cash prize and a spot with the House at upcoming Bettie-fests.

The House of Domination began this event during the first season of
JACKIE 60 in 1991, and it grew and evolved
each year as new generations of Betties joined the festivities. Produced by THE JACKIE FACTORY NYC until 2004,
this annual helped spawn the enormous revival of all things BETTIE.
