BETTY PAGE 12: MOVIE STAR NEWS, 2009

THE HOUSE OF DOMINATION held an annual tribute to pin-up eminence BETTY PAGE (or, if you like, Bettie Page!) for many years. They dedicated their jam-packed 2002 edition, held at CBGB'S DOWNSTAIRS LOUNGE AT THE GALLERY, to the seminal Fifties bondage pinup empire spearheaded by the late IRVING and PAULA KLAW. The main event was hours of bondage and tease performance inspired by the living-room, tied-to-the couch charm of Betty's MSN days. These re-enactments featured DOMINATION Betty lookalikes and legends including DOLLY, JESSICA RABBIT, ELIZA, DOLLY and MARTI, and newcomer LILY DOMINATION. The House of D was styled to an erotic T by event founder and costume designer KITTY BOOTS.

Betty 12 also featured the most competitive BETTY REALNESS COMPETITION in the events's history, judged by an all-star panel which included MISTRESS LEDA of Arena/Blaze, bon vivant MICHAEL MUSTO and sexologist DR. DUCKY DOOLITTLE. A dozen competitors battled for $100 cash prize and a complimentary glamour photography shoot with JAMIE CASERTANO, which was published on this site. Winner AMBER RAY battled fierce competition including 1999 winner JULIE LAMB and this year's runner-up APHRODITE.

We don't just LOVE Betty Page: We WORSHIP her! The quantity and quality of Betties onstage and off grows every year, to the delight of the crowd. As fetish goddesses like MARTI DOMINATION(far left) - 1999 Betty Realness winner JULIE LAMB (left) - this year's runner-up APHRODITE (right) and living Betty DR. DUCKY DOOLITTLE (far right) paraded onstage, there were many more of their Banged sisters in the nightclub, everywhere!

The enduring appeal of this event owed so much to the flawless Betty interpretations of the host fetish performance troupe, THE HOUSE OF DOMINATION. The fabulous DOLLY (far left, with the lovely and leggy ELIZA) travelled for hundreds of miles to attend every year. Each house member has their own interpretation - Spitfire Betty is personnified by JESSICA RABBIT, while Burlesque Betty lives in MARTI. Newcomer LILY (far right) was enthusiastically greeted by the crowd.

So many downtown performers who are House of Domination Betty-regulars were by, including the Betty-licious PENNY ARCADE, in with her cast after a "NY Values" performance. Penny joined the House for a bit of B and D (above) and then hit the party with her fabulous chorus girls KELLY WEBB, LINDA MARTINI, and featured Betty-performer JULIE ATLAS MUZ.
