BETTY PAGE 12: MOVIE STAR NEWSTHE HOUSE OF DOMINATION'S annual tribute to pin-up eminence BETTY PAGE (or, if you like, Bettie Page!) started off the new MOTHERNYC/JACKIE 60 FURTHER season with a wink on March 9. The jam-packed 2002 edition, held at CBGB'S DOWNSTAIRS LOUNGE AT THE GALLERY, saluted the seminal Fifties bondage pinup empire spearheaded by the late IRVING and PAULA KLAW. The main event was hours of bondage and tease performance inspired by the living-room, tied-to-the couch charm of Betty's MSN days. These re-enactments featured DOMINATION Betty lookalikes and legends including DOLLY, JESSICA RABBIT, ELIZA, DOLLY and MARTI, and newcomer LILY DOMINATION. The House of D was styled to an erotic T by event founder and costume designer KITTY BOOTS.Betty 12 also featured the most competitive BETTY REALNESS COMPETITION in the events's history, judged by an all-star panel which included MISTRESS LEDA of Arena/Blaze, bon vivant MICHAEL MUSTO and sexologist DR. DUCKY DOOLITTLE. A dozen competitors battled for $100 cash prize and a complimentary glamour photography shoot with JAMIE CASERTANO, which will be published on these pages.
