Once a year in New York City, the fetish performance troupe THE HOUSE OF
DOMINATION presents a gala evening of Bettie Page worship. In "Method
Go-Go" sets through the night, The House brings to life the many Bettie
Page images from her classic 8 mm films and fetish photos. The night
also features the hotly contested BETTIE PAGE REALNESS contest, with
Bettie look-a-likes competing for the title and $250 cash prize. This
year's edition takes the MAIN STAGE of CROBAR at 11 PM for the contest
and performances, then moves to THE REED ROOM from midnight to
late-night, 100% Bettie Page.
The much-loved Bettie-blast opens at 10 PM, with one hour of
complimentary cocktails . Legends of Bettie Realness from THE HOUSE OF
DOMINATION and the NYC fetish world scheduled to appear include JESSICA RABBIT
and VIVA DOMINATION, DARENZIA, LITTLE BROOKLYN, HARVEST MOON and former contest winners
DELERIUM TREMENS and AMBER RAY. Judges for the 11 PM contest include House of
Domination founder (and costume designer extraordinaire) KITTY BOOTS, "Bettie
Pages" founder GREG THEAKSTON and
MISTRESS LEDA of Arena Productions (producer of the BLACK AND BLUE
BALL). The main stage contest will be deftly guided by JACKIE MC's
HATTIE HATHAWAY and CHI CHI VALENTI. When the contest ends round
midnight, the Bettie Festivities continue all night in THE REED ROOM,
where a glorious gathering of Bettie Legends in dangerously high heels
will grace the platforms and stage, as DJ JOHNNY DYNELL spins tease and
vintage sleaze and the very best of BETTIE PAGE and MOVIE STAR NEWS
films will star on the video.
